Palazzone - rules cortona2004

Use of the Palazzone

The meeting at Villa Passerini ("Il Palazzone") in Cortona, promoted by INdAM (Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica) is possible thanks to the existence of an agreement between Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa and INdAM. The agreement establishes rules about the use of the Palazzone, in particular concerning the persons hosted in the Villa.

The Palazzone has 11+1 spacious double-rooms. All but two rooms have private bathroom (but no TV; a TV set is located in the breakfast room). The phone you will find in your room can only receive calls. A daily room-service and breakfast is provided by a catering&cleaning company. Accompanying persons can be hosted at the Palazzone, but children are not allowed. The common lunch is not included for accompanying persons but can be taken with the conference participants at the price of 18 Euro upon signing in the secretary's office before on the previous day. For the first day, please kindly send an email to cortona@weyl.math.tu-graz.ac.at regarding the lunch of accompanying persons.

ARRIVAL (Default: Sunday 13 June; the rooms are NOT available on Saturday): in order to obtain the key and the entrance pass, people hosted at the Palazzone who arrive on Sunday are required to check-in during the opening hours of the porter's lodge between 2 pm and 8 pm.
The entrance-gate of the Palazzone will be closed at 8 pm. Please try to avoid late arrrival; if it is absolutely impossible that you come before 8pm on Sunday, please inform us in advance by email, and phone Tullio Ceccherini-Silberstein (+39 328 1051937) or Maura Salvatori (+39 340 2921034) at their mobile phones upon arrival in town.
