Wireless Internet Access

You can connect your notebook computer to the internet via a WLAN network, which is available in many areas of the buildings. This network's name is tug, and it should automatically pop up in the list of available wireless networks. For establishing the connection you will have to open a web browser and fill in the personal account data which you can find in your conference bag. Internet access is somewhat limited but should be sufficient for most purposes. (supported protocols are http(s), imap(s), pop(s), ssmtp (port 465), mail message submission (port 587), and ssh).

For `full' internet access you can use a vpn client. Please see this web page for details.
