Don't talk with a monotone voice

This is a slight issue that leads a surprisingly high amount of talks to a failure. As already discussed, people will always lose concentration at some point. If you say everything at the same pace and showing no emotions, then such occurrences will appear more often, and they will also appear at the wrong place: if you do not do anything to emphasise the crucial moments in your talk, then losses of concentration will appear there with the same frequency as at any other point.

So try to show some excitement at appropriate moments, and use some body language.
