Lunch
Daily complete lunch is served at the Palazzone from Monday to Friday. Our funding allows us to offer the lunch for each participant. Accompanying persons may also have lunch at the Palazzone at the price of 17 Euro upon signing in the secretary's office on the previous day.
About Palazzone
The Palazzone has 11+1 spacious double-rooms. All but two rooms have private bathroom (but no TV; a TV set is located in the breakfast room). The phone you will find in your room can only receive calls. A daily room-service and breakfast is provided by a catering&cleaning company. Accompanying persons can be hosted at the Palazzone, but children are not allowed. The common lunch is not included for accompanying persons but can be taken with the conference participants at the price of 17 Euro upon signing in the secretary's office before on the previous day. For the first day, please kindly send an email to 2014cortona@gmail.com regarding the lunch of accompanying persons.
Internet
There is wireless internet connection at Palazzone and a password will be given to all participants. The wireless connection is not really good in the rooms, and it is suggested to use the wired connection. You can bring a internet cable with you.
General informations
- After a registration and a coffee welcome, the OPENING is scheduled for Monday, 2nd of June, at 10am .
- Wednesday afternoon is FREE.
- The SOCIAL DINNER will take place on THURSDAY EVENING.
- On Friday there will be only morning talks (but there will be a LUNCH). Thus the conference is scheduled to END by Friday afternoon.
- The expected ARRIVAL DATE is Sunday June 1st and the expected DEPARTURE DATE is either Friday June 6th (after the morning session or after the lunch) or Saturday June 7th (in the morning).
