The local organizers will help to arrange the accomodation of all participants.
Seven Hotels where a good number of participants will be booked (resp. have already been booked) are:
- Pension Johannes, at 3 minutes walking distance from the institute. The address is: Münzgrabenstrasse 48, 8010 Graz.
Approximate rate for a single room: 45 EUR
The breakfast is included in the price. - Pension Barbara, at 5-6 minutes walking distance from the institute. The address is: Münzgrabenstrasse 122, 8010 Graz.
For those of you being accomodated in this Hotel, remember that you have to fetch the key in Pension Johannes. - Hotel Mariahilf in the center (Mariahilferstraße 9, 8020 Graz, behind Kunsthaus); walking distance to the institute 20-25 minutes, there is also a good tram connection.

Approximate rate for a double room: 39 EUR (pro person)
The breakfast is included in the price. - Guest house of TU Graz in Leechwald, a forest not far from the center, 30 minutes walking distance to the institute
and tram connection. (A limited number of rooms.)
The address is: Hilmteichstrasse 104, 8010 Graz. - Hotel Mercure Messe is a very nice hotel situated at a few minutes walking distance from the institute and also from the center. The address is: Waltendorfer Gürtel 8-10, 8010 Graz
Rate for a single room: 78 EUR (breakfast included)
Rate for a double room: 115 - Studenthouse Hafnerriegel is situated a a few minutes walking distance from the institute. The address is: Hafnerriegel 53, 8010 Graz.
- Hotel Teuschler is a 4-star Day Spa Hotel. It is a very elegant and modern styled Hotel of the upper class, close to downtown of Graz. There is a good tram connection (tram 1) to the center (Jakominiplatz). From there you can either take the tram nb 6 in order to arrive at the intitute, or you can walk for about 10 min.

Approximate rate for a single room: from 63 EUR to 79 EUR

Participants might indicate whether they prefer to stay downtown or close to the institute (according to availability).
Note: in Austria it is not very common to have air conditioned rooms (although in June-July there may be some warmer weeks), only some of the more expensive hotels do have air condition. Participants for whom this is indispensable should communicate this to the workshop email address.
All participants are asked to communicate as soon as possible their planned days of arrival and departure, so that we can book a room as soon as possible. Some younger participants may be asked to share a room.
Note: in the week of the workshop there will be another big event in Graz with 3000 expected participants. For this reason it is important that we can book the rooms as soon as possible.
